APPEARANCE
Standing as a statuesque knight in black, Embody often wears Gothic-style Kastenbrust armour with a strange, iridescent sheen like that of a raven’s wing. As a Canis Knight, she dons a close helmet that covers the entirety of her face. Underneath the helm, her hair also has that strange iridescence as her armour. Her eyes appear to be blue, though there are tinges of red and other colours, depending on the reflection of the light. She has several piercings on her ear; both lobes have multiple piercings. She has a rook on her left and a daith on her right. Beneath her left eye are two moles that are stacked vertically.
Her body is deceptively feminine and toned, with long legs, angular shoulders and limbs, contrasting with soft, sensuous curves and beautiful lines. There are multiple scars over her body, some that appear as surgical incisions, others from combat, and others are designs that were carved into flesh. Her Sun crest manifests just below the nape of her neck, where the spine and neck meets.
GENERAL ATTITUDE
Embody is an enigma. She is a person of few words and can come off brusque, cold or unfeeling. She lives a rather austere and Spartan life, has little hobbies, and seems like nothing more of an empty shell of a person. She has no favourite colour, no favourite food, no desire to further any ambition of status or prestige. Her fighting style is methodical and brutal, with seemingly no regard for her life. She would sooner grasp your sword to disarm you and bludgeon you to death with the pommel than try to use graceful dueling arts. She exists for combat and destruction, not polite duels.
Despite this emotionless attitude that she adopts, Embody can be incredibly obsessive and protective about something or someone she truly likes to the point of derangement. Because of this inability to express feelings candidly, she can be incredibly violent or self-destructive.

ABILITY INFORMATION
Blood Sacrifice
Embody wields Hrunting, a fabled blade — though it is unsure if it is the real thing or a replica. She can summon it magically as an extension of herself and it seems to be dyed black with blood. Using the blade requires her to give her life force through blood sacrifice instead of mana in exchange for unworldly strength and defence, so long as she wields the blade in combat. The closer to losing her life she is, the greater her offensive power and speed.
Polymorph
Embody’s body is covered with a black affliction which gives her hair and armor the iridescent sheen. In places where the skin and this covering meet, it appears to be composed of fine, toothy scales, moreso of a shark than a fish. Embody remembers in the past that this covered the entirety of her body, but now she is able to control how much is displayed. Her limbs however, cannot reveal her human flesh underneath.
This affliction seems to be what allows her to be able to transform her shape at will, though it is never a perfect mimicry and a crude imitation. For example, if she were to transform into a mimic, it would be a rather polygonal-looking black chest than something realistic-looking. This may be due to her lackings in visualisation and imagination rather than the ability itself. It took her a long time to manifest the current form of what this covering usually takes: her plate armour, and she often remembered staring or concentrating on suits and suits of armour before she was able to make it take the form it is today. She also takes on another form, listed below:
“Valkyrie”: this form is the largest she can possibly take, though she can scale the size as needed. Transformation takes a substantial amount of time and is extremely painful. So no, she cannot instantly crush you in this form mid-argument.
With a maximum wingspan of 13.5 metres, it puts it on par with a modern-day jet fighter. It resembles a large bird, though more flattened and simplified and with no head, beak or talons. Its speed is impressive, being faster than most living creatures at top speed. If she were to carry someone, she can only transport at most two people. Being in this form is incredibly costly in mana, and the faster she flies, the more mana is consumed. Additionally, she runs the risk of passing out, being completely incapacitated for several days, or even death if all mana is consumed.
Magically Engineered Super-Soldier
Embody has been enhanced with strength that exceeds an average human, allowing her to evenly match the strength of beings like demons or races with a significant strength advantage. Her reflexes and reaction times are also faster.
She can also survive exceedingly hostile conditions or phenomenons such as g-force or moderate water pressure levels in the deep sea. She appears to have some immunity and mitigation to the effects of poisons, corrosions, continuous burning or bleeding. (Basically, anything that could be classified as Damage-Over-Time).
The polymorphic covering also acts as armour, being highly resistant to both piercing and slashing trauma, and to a lesser degree, some blunt trauma. It is on par with tournament and field plate armour. The main advantage is that unlike plate armour, Embody’s armour would have no weaknesses for common points where armour cannot be placed due to the restrictions on movements it would cause.
BACKSTORY
Embody can’t remember her birth name.
There are things in her past which she has trouble recalling. It never used to be like this, or at least she thinks. There are at least some key details she can remember. She remembers she was a failure from birth, and she was a failure today: that’s why “they” are no longer in need of her. There are things she can recall from her early life, though unpleasant. Embody was born to victim of human trafficking in Hycliff. She grew up in a hostile environment, where everyone was looking to take advantage of the weaker person. That’s where she learned how to fight: to fight to survive. Eventually, that turned into the desire to join the Canis Knights. She heard of a trial that anyone could take in Crilux, and if you were distinguished enough, you could have as much power as a noble lord. Maybe that would find some meaning in this existence, if she could at least maybe have a more comfortable life.
There is one key thing she remembers. She remembered who gave her the name “Embody”.
The young boy who smiled at her — that person is more important than anyone else. And she would even enslave someone else to become close to him once again. It’s the only thing she has now.
What really happened that day
That boy’s name was “Eustace”. She remembered meeting him when she was about twelve years old in Hycliff. What she doesn’t remember was that she herself was kidnapped and experimented on. Thunderstorms and the specific smell of ozone seem to want to trigger that memory, but there is nothing to recall in her mind. The ozone smell that is associated comes from being shocked and prodded by a specific device to test her pain tolerance. By the end of the experiment, she had the polymorphic powers and was able to successfully replicate armour and the valkyrie form. Despite her aptitude for controlling mana, due to her poor image visualisation skills she was unable to successfully mimic other objects perfectly. Thus, the experiment on Embody was closed, and Embody’s memory of the experimentation period was erased.
She discovered Hrunting during the time she decided to take the trial, and chose to wield the weapon despite its danger. She took a slave, and the slave grew to care and be devoted to Embody, eventually deciding to learn healing magic due to the effects of wielding Hrunting, as if Embody dies, so does the enslaved. Embody expressed that there is no cause for concern, though she allows relative freedom for the slave to pursue whatever they desire.
